RIPE 54 - Meeting Venue & Hotel
The RIPE 54 Meeting took place at the Sokos Viru Hotel in Tallinn.
Hotel Location
The Sokos Viru is one of the most central hotels in Tallinn, located close to the old town. It is just 5km from the airport, 2km from the nearest railway station and 1.5km from the harbour.
From the Airport:
- By bus: Bus number two will take you to the hotel. The bus stop is
in front of the airport terminal. You can buy a ticket from the driver. It will cost you around 15
EEK (approx. 1 euro)
- By taxi: Taxi stands are located in front
of the airport. The cost is about 80 EEK
(5 euros)
From the Port:
- By bus: Bus number two will take you to the hotel. It stops near
the front of D-terminal and also near A-terminal
and goes to Viru Väljak every
20 minutes. It costs around 15 EEK (1 euro)
- By taxi: The approximate fare is 55
EEK (around 3.5 euros)
