IP Request Tutorial

This tutorial is aimed at Local Internet Registries (LIRs). The goal of the "IP Request Tutorial" is to explain address space assignment and allocation procedures in the RIPE NCC region. It contains selected parts from the LIR course that the RIPE NCC provides to its members.

  • How to Interact with the RIPE Whois Database;
  • How to Request Address Space;
  • Completing the Request Form;
  • Evaluation;
  • Assignment Window;
  • PI Assignments.

It is not necessary to register. All RIPE meeting participants are more than welcome to attend this tutorial.
