RIPE NCC Regional Meeting - Salmiya, Kuwait |
The Middle East Network Operators Group (MENOG) is a regional forum offering network engineers and other technical staff the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, and identify areas for regional cooperation.
The RIPE NCC Regional Meeting took place from 15-17 April 2008 in Salmiya, Kuwait alongside MENOG 3. The event was free and open to anyone.
Regional meetings enable the RIPE NCC to get direct feedback from its members. The meetings also provided a forum for local governments, key players in the local and global Internet industry and RIPE NCC staff to discuss Internet issues relevant to a specific region.

Meeting Report
There were 107 attendees from 20 different countries. The meeting agenda included presentations, tutorials, and workshops to discuss implementation issues that require community cooperation. The meeting minutes will be available shortly.
