Quick Tips for IP and AS Requests

RIPE NCC IPRAs look for specific details on every request. To
avoid delaying an
approval, use these tips to double check your request before submitting
it to RIPE NCC.
Simple steps for requesting Internet resources from the RIPE NCC:
There are two ways of requesting Internet resources (address space and
AS Numbers) from the RIPE NCC:
- Use the LIR Portal to
request resources
- E-mail a request to the RIPE
NCC
Both methods require RIPE NCC membership. In addition, the LIR Portal
requires a user name and password.
E-mail an IPv4 (PA) request to the RIPE NCC:

- Copy the "Provider Aggregatable
(PA) Assignment Request Form" to
your e-mail editor.
- Print out the
" Supporting
Notes for the Provider Aggregatable (PA) Assignment Request
Form" and use it
as a guide for filling out your" Provider
Aggregatable (PA) Assignment Request
Form".
- Check through the following tips (1 -
8) before submitting

to help the members with their Internet resources administration.
The RIPE NCC strongly recommends these courses to any LIR contacts
dealing with RIPE NCC Internet resources administration.
Admission to a training course is included in the set-up fee for every
